Orders with a mixture of items

Some of the products we offer are dispatched from various locations around Australia, gifts hampers are such an example. Hampers are packaged and sent out separately and are likely to arrive at a different time or day than wine shipments. This does not apply to hampers that are sold as a package with an included bottle of liquor or champagne, these are arranged and sent as a single parcel.

We process all orders immediately

We do occasionally fall behind on despatching orders, if we have no stock on hand or if there is an abnormally large queue. It may take up to 72 hours on some ocassions to send out orders, but this is an exception. If the purchase is made before noon on any business day, and the items are in our warehouse, the shipment is sent out the same day. Some deliveries may arrive a day or two following the purchase if the destination is within Victoria, while some can take up to ten days if the address is very distant from our warehouse. If the address for delivery is within Australia, the goods are most likely to be delivered by Australia Post and can reasonably be expected to arrive within 3 to 10 working days. If you feel that your order has been unreasonably delayed, please contact us and we will be happy to track your invoice.

Insurance of goods against breakage and mishap

Orders can be insured in full for a fee of 1%. This is paid by the customer and is exclusive of the stated price of the product. The fee is processed automatically during checkout and is added to the total bill before being presented for payment.

International deliveries

Purchases to destinations outside Australia are sold Duty Free and are subject to higher shipping and handling fees. We will not be liable for cost or inconvenience transpiring from customs restrictions, import duties and tariffs peculiar to the destination. The customer must bear all costs and burdens in relation to fees and delays resultant from international orders. We always endeavour to deliver goods purchased as promptly as is possible so that we may serve our customers again.

Delivery charges to most destinations within Australia

1. **Free shipping to most destinations within Australia if the goods purchased are $200 or more. Some destinations incur higher shipping fees
2. All shipments within Victoria are free if the order is 12 bottles or more
3. Orders of 7 to 11 bottles delivered within Victoria attract a delivery charge of $10
4. **For most other destinations within Australia there is a flat delivery fee of $10 for a shipment under $200 or $15 if the order is six bottles and less
5. There is no shipping or freight charges to most** destinations within Australia if the order is $200 or over

Changes of vintage

Vintage changes are a daily occurrence, and often come without warning. We take great efforts to provide our customers with the vintages stated on this website, however due to the nature of wine we may need to notify customers of vintage changes or substitutions before we despatch any items. In situations where the wine ordered was offered on a current vintage basis, we may choose to fill the order with the available vintage.

Disruptions to internet & system failures

In the case of network, systemic, IT based, or bank transaction errors, we will make every attempt to deliver to the customer a fair and reasonable outcome. The shopper must be vigilant generally when making purchases through the internet and be wary of it's nature. We take all reasonable precautions in the administration and maintenance of our on-line systems, and advise our site visitors to be prudent, to excercise caution, and to not abuse the service.
