David Traeger Verdelho 2009 One of Australia's most satisfying, dry Verdelho wines, expressing fine varietal characters, crisp and refreshing, with good body and solid structure, courtesy of the fermentation techniques. Another excellent release from the best Victorian vineyards, displaying dry and spicey tropical aromas with hints of white peach. Clean scents of avocado and snow pea, a nuance of honeycomb. The fascinating bouquet is followed by rich fruit salad flavours, a touch of upfront flintyness brings with it a flavoursome crisp palate, excellent mouthfeel and good length.

Moondah Brook Verdelho 2007 Moondah Brook can boast about an unbroken succession of superlative vintages, laying claim to consistently producing one of Australia's most popular Verdelho wines. This unique grape was originally planted on the Moondah Brook vineyards near Gin Gin in the 1960s from much earlier old cuttings along the Swan Valley where Verdelho thrives in the warm and sunny climes. Lithe notes of peach and jonagold apple, roasted nut and green olive provide complexity. A trace of mineral and flint on the palate with a quenching natural fruit acidity.
