Amberley Chimney Brush Chenin Blanc 2009 Chenin Blanc grown exclusively to premiere vineyards within the Margaret River region. The grapes are picked at varying degrees of ripeness to create a complex yet harmonious wine which shows elegant fruit characteristics, whilst exhibiting the flavour intensity of the riper, late picked grapes. Rich, soft, pretty bergamot flowers. Lovely balanced bright nose with a carry through of melon and then a hint of sweetness.

Annies Lane Chardonnay 2008 Pure Clare Valley Chardonnay, and some of it from fruit parcels that can trace a lineage back to Quelltaler, the first Aussie wine ever formally served to the UK House of Commons! Annie's Lane recounts the legend of a local lass who operated a mobile canteen in the Clare Valley, providing sandwiches and warm drinks to harvesters and pruners in the vineyards. "Tropicality and some nice buttery elemens combine to form a perfectly rounded Chardonnay with punch and vigor, and a pleasantly dry, fruit filled finish!" -Wineweekly. Hints of musk develop, oats and green apple, nashi and lemon pith. These characters grow into lively varietal fruit flavours, a gracefully creamy, refined Chardonnay palate.

Annies Lane Riesling 2008 Branded in earlier years under the Quelltaler label, this is a value packed Riesling drawn from distinguished sites in the Clare Valley, including the famous Carlsfield and Sevenhill vineyards. Carlsfield planted in 1935, produces fruit with ripe citrus characters, whilst Sevenhill yields Riesling with finesse and dominant steely characters. There are elegant expressions in the heady bouquets, minerals and citrus, chalk, persimmon and wild spring flowers. Lifted florals, a framework of fine fruit and creamy textures, lime citrus flavours show finesse and elegance with balanced crisp acidity to the lingering finish.

Brands Laira Chardonnay 2008 The superb Laira Vineyard was established by Captain Stentiford in 1893 on a premium parcel of Coonawarra Terra rossa soil. Pioneer and patron of the Coonawarra Eric Brand became custodian of the vineyard more than half a century later. The palate is balanced and complex, rich, rounded and fruit driven, displaying vibrant stonefruit with subtle minerality accompanied by cashew nut flavours from the oak alongside creamy characters from ageing on lees and malolactic fermentation. The finish is crisp and clean, lingering with fine flavours.

Brown Brothers Moscato 2009 Muscat of Alexandria is part of the exotic Muscat family. A wonderfully fruity grape, it produces delicate and perfumed, crisp white table wines. There are citrus and stonefruit flavours as well as honeycomb, nuts and soft nougat. Vibrant flavours, the wine is plush and mouth filling, there are tangy characters of mixed sherbets, nice grapey elements, the wine sits on the palate swaying between it's natural fruity personality and an innate capacity to refresh and to invigorate.

Cape Mentelle Georgiana 2009 A fresh, vibrant expression of Margaret River. The immensely popular Georgiana is a mostly Sauvignon Blanc wine with a minor component of Semillon, distinctively textural on the palate, with bright and refreshing acidity, providing balance to create the perfect summer white. Juicy white peach, guava and citrus flavours are supported with a slippery, creamy texture. Subtle cinnamon and delicate anise well complement the vibrant fruit driven palate.

Chapel Hill Verdelho 2009 Verdelho originated in Portugal and has acclimatized itself well to the McLaren Vale's maritime climate. One of the very first varietals planted in the McLaren circa 1825, Verdelho is a beguiling variety, its generous and vibrant characters evoke an array of stylistic influences due to its wide versatility. Verdelho’s luscious, generous and vibrant flavour renders it perfectly compatible to a myriad of cuisines and occasions. A consequence of the phased harvesting, Chapel Hill displays an intriguing array of flavours, complex stonefruits and buttered toast, the characteristic honey tones continue to soften demonstrably.

Chard Farm Sauvignon Blanc The Chard Farm barrel cellar uses the old world technique of sitting the barrels on bare earth pits that have been filled with gravel. This lets the cellar breath, but more importantly keeps the humidity high, thereby preventing a lot of wine evaporation aka the angels share” and therefore loss of wine.
