Annies Lane Shiraz 2008 The ancient Quelltaler property has gone through a multitude of trials and tribulations throughout a century and a half of viticulture. The first vineyards were planted with rootstock at the time of settlement and have been painstakingly nurtured ever since. Barrel fermentation has enabled better integration of fruit and oak, adding another layer of complexity. A rich, mouth filling palate with spicy black cherry and ripe plum fruit flavours combined with elegant floral and ginger nuances. Shiraz has been produced at Best’s Great Western since the late 1800s, although an actual date of the inaugural Bin 0 has been lost in the annals of time.
